Now That’s What I’m Talking About!“. This summer lunch program is offered to children of school age and younger that reside in Montville, Thompson, Claridon, Burton and Troy.
This exciting new program intends to fill a gap within our community by providing free lunches to our school children and welcomes children to enjoy a free lunch whether the family is in need of financial assistance (according to government guidelines) or not. The idea is to create a space that welcomes people of all backgrounds to enjoy lunch without fear of judgement.It will ensure that our children are not going hungry and will provide a sense of security to families around food stability during the summer months.
The Claridon Community Helps (a non profit organization), will head up this new program. Please be sure to preregister by filling out the attached registration form and returning in one of the following ways:
Registration is ongoing, however Children MUST be preregistered. Children registered by May 15, 2019 will be used to determine delivery locations, which will be announced by May 24, 2019 so stay tuned!
