Jim and his wife, Luanne, have four adult children with three grandchildren and two step grandchildren. They have lived in Geauga County for over 30 years. Jim is retired from the construction industry. After High School Jim graduated from Trade School and attended classes at Kent State Geauga. He taught Masonry through Auburn Career Center for nine years.
In the community, Jim has been a 4-H Advisor and a Basketball Coach at Berkshire, Newbury, and St. Helens schools. He is a member of Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, and Burton-Middlefield Rotary.
Trustee Dvorak is currently the liaison for Burton Township roads and buildings, employees, prevailing wage coordinator, Geauga County Health Board representative, and Drug-Free Workplace representative. In addition, Jim is the President of the Geauga County Township Association and Vice President of the Northeast Township Association both in the second term.
